Employer Nomination Scheme Visa ENS -Subclass 186

This visa allows skilled workers, who are nominated by their employer, to live and work in Australia permanently. 

This visa has three streams:

• Direct Entry Stream
• Temporary Residence Transition Steam
• Labour Agreement Stream

Eligibility Criteria for Direct Entry Stream visa subclass 186:

• Nominated occupation must be from the MLTSSL Occupation list 
• Must have three years full time employment experience unless exempted 
• Must be registered, licenced or a member of professional body if it is mandatory in the State/Territory you intend to work in
• Must have positive skill assessment unless exempted 
• Must be nominated by an Australian employer who is operating and running business lawfully in Australia and haven’t received any adverse information 
• Must be less than 45 years old at the time of visa application unless exempted 
• Must have competent level of English unless exempted 
• Caveats apply for some of the nominated occupations 
• Meet health and character requirements

Eligibility Criteria for Temporary Residence Transition Steam

• Must have three years full time employment experience with the employer who nominated you for the temporary visa subclass 457 or 482
• Must be registered, licenced or a member of professional body if it is mandatory in the State/Territory you intend to work in
• Must have positive skill assessment if required by the case officer 
• Must be nominated by an Australian employer who is operating and running business lawfully in Australia and haven’t received any adverse information 
• Must be less than 45 years old at the time of visa application unless exempted 
• Must have competent level of English 
• Meet health and character requirements 

Labour Agreement Stream:

This visa is only for those whose employer has got labour agreement with the Australian government.
